British Airways Fire Staff Over Facebook Statuses
Several British Airways staff who left nasty yet factual messages on social networking site, Facebook are facing a serious investigation. Numerous members of the check-in staff based at Gatwick posted messages on their Facebook pages saying that many travellers were 'smelly' and that the operations at Heathrow's Terminal 5 were 'shambolic'. A press officer who works for British Airways was furious that staff have seemed to ignore the company directive of shutting up about the abysmal service at Terminal 5 and certainly not to make comments about their customers.
