Goodwill Industries at Work in Arkansas
Goodwill Industries was brought to Arkansas in 1927 by Charles E. Moyer, the Mayor of Little Rock. A year later, Dr. Edgar J. Helms, founder of Goodwill Industries, visited Little Rock and approved of what he found. Goodwill Industries of Arkansas has increased its operations greatly since then and now runs a few rehabilitation centers, fifteen retail stores and two attended donation stations.
