Corfu Old Harbour
This is a very pleasant walk along the seafront though the pavements are narrow and care should be taken with passing cars. We pass the Palace at the north end of the Spianada. Beyond the Palace, on our left, is the Corfu Literary Society, a traditional building, with an attractive outside staircase. The Society was founded in 1836 and has a good library which focuses particularly on the history of the island.
