Students With Disabilities-Creating Collaborative Partnerships-After School Programs, Part 3 of 3

It is estimated that over 8 million children and youth do not participate in after-school programs and are left home unsupervised. Research has found that those students who participate in extracurricular activities are at least risk of dropping out of school, gang involvement, drug use, and teenage pregnancy.
