Food For Women - Companies Are Developing More and More Products Specifically Geared to Women

More than 1,000 new foods and drinks targeting women have hit the global market in the past four years. Nicknamed chick foods, these products include such things as the Luna Bar, Tab Energy drink, General Mills Harmony cereal, and Woman's Bread. Retail sales of women's food and beverages in 2004 were more than $4.5 billion, and sales are projected to reach $7.7 billion by 2009.
