Not long ago, gamers had to look to the likes of Nintendo Power and GamePro to find codes to help them beat games that would otherwise be impossible. Who can forget the ubiquitous Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, B, A, start to dominate with 30 extra lives in Konami's classic Contra.
