The good news, if we can call it that is that most financial crises end within two years and according to the NBER (National Bureau of Economic Research) the present recession began in December 2007 which means that we should start coming out of the present one in December 2009 or thereabouts. The not so good news however is that many Wall Street pundits claim that the real recession only started in September 2008 which would mean that we still have a long way to go! Read more...
