A Company Named Luzier

In 1935, a gentleman by the name of Thomas Luzier founded Luzier Special Formula Laboratories. A chemist from Kansas City, started making facial cremes before he founded the company. After he created the cremes, he went to the beauty salon that his wife was running, and let the women their use the cremes. Mr. Luzier grew his product line by introducing color and facial powders. Although he was successful, when these other lines were introduced, the sales increased. In 1929, he formed Luzier Cosmetics, and relocated to a more up to date facility in downtown Kansas City. The new location had ample space for production, and distributing. This same location was perfect for being to handle the business for nearly 80 years. Read more...
