The Difference Between Federal and State Do Not Call Registries
If you happen to live in a state that has its own Do Not Call registry, you may believe that you don't need to belong to the larger Federal Do Not Call list. However, it is always a good idea to belong to them both and you aren't cancelling out any particular kind of protection by being on two lists at once. However, both types of lists do feature large loopholes that can be used by companies to get around not being able to call you.
