Humans have been able to nearly eradicate a variety of illnesses over the years through the use of vaccines. Small pox exists in such small numbers now that babies are no longer even given the vaccine against it. Vaccines have proven to be an effective way of eliminating or reducing the occurrence of a variety of diseases. When a disease has not been eliminated, the medical world has done wonderful things when it comes to curing these diseases. Surgeries, drugs like antibiotics, and other methods all have been useful. While great strides have been made towards helping individuals beat cancer, so far there is not a fool-proof cure to every form of the disease. Read more...
