Learning to Play the Bean Bag Game

If you're looking for a new game to enjoy as summer turns into fall and being outside is more enjoyable for everyone - especially in the hottest parts of the country - why not learn to play the bean bag game? Some people also call it the Cornhole game, but the basic play is the same no matter what the title. You have a wooden or plastic board that is slanted and set on a base. There is a hole in it. You stand a specified distance from that hole and you throw weighted and filled cloth bags (they're not heavy) toward the target. If you get a bean bag to go through the hole you score points. You can also get points - although not as many - if you throw a bag which lands on any part of the board and remains there. Bags are not worth points if they miss the board or if they fall off once they hit. The first person to twenty-one points wins. Continue ...
