Finding the Email Culprits
On any given day, your email inbox can be flooded with dozens of unwanted emails known as spam. Spam emails can range from fairly harmless ads for products you aren't interested in and wouldn't buy under any circumstance to mean spirited or even vicious attempts to take over your computer with a virus or other Internet bug. Since there is no way to tell which kind of spam email you have sitting in your inbox, the best thing to do is to not open them at all, but you don't just want to trust your spam filter since they are notorious for screening out emails that were actually meant for you.
